BAKROOM’ A NEW MUSICAL MELTING POT

Bakroom, set up in 2014 – an electronic music label created by Irish producer & DJ Static Interference.
Bakroom is an eclectic musical melting pot consisting of productions by established artists and previously unreleased raw talent.
Bakroom singles and remixes feature the legendary Jamez (Touché Records), Roland Klinkenberg, Ben Shaw, Stephen Lopkin, Silinder, Phraktal, Astronivo, Socket Hog, Kluute, Pole Folder, CP, Laurent Maldo, Jules Wells, Mike Anderson, and G-Prod.
Bakroom label owner Static Interference has spent over 25 years cultivating his craft, beginning as a staple on the circuit in the thriving early 90s Irish acid-house scene.
He has shared the bill with stalwarts of electronic music such as Grandmaster Flash, Underworld, Lil Louis Vega, Felix Da Housecat, Danny Howells, Marshall Jefferson, Robert Owens, Tom Middleton, and humbled to mention megastar Prince R.I.P
Several of his productions under different monikers have met with critical acclaim and international success, featuring on compilations such as Mixmag, ToolRoom, and Renaissance.
Touring throughout his 20s he has played to crowds in intimate venues to thousands at Love Festival in San Francisco, Creamfields in his native Dublin, Deviate in New Zealand, Sweden, Buddha Bar in Sydney, Renaissance @ Sir Henry’s in Cork [Ireland] and just recently headlined at the Pagoda stage in 2018 with one of his other collaborations Phraktal at Body and Soul in Ballinclough Castle.
2018 seen him release 2 new alias’ /dimensions to his growing roster of names, he explains; “having multiple artist monikers, allows me a freedom to create music in various styles, without me worrying about feeling confined by a particular name, check out my albums by Phase Tree – The thing about secrets & Socket Hog – Purple Dragon for 2 pseudonyms I will be using a lot in the future”.
Bakroom is now In its 5th year and has a various artists chill-out compilation due for release Spring 2019 followed by a Techno compilation series called Reset around April. Singles and remixes from Orlando Voorn, Phraktal, Socket Hog, Bete Imaginaire, Code Bushido, Yuki Takasaki, Echoforce/Phonophlux, Teqnov & Paperheart.
