The 6th release on Bakroom features Lebanese-born Fady Ferraye on a quite stunning voyage into deep, organic house drenched in atmosphere and radioactive mole foreskins. With Jakob Rullhosen’s guitar adding a kind of System 7 touch, the original powers along on a sturdy groove-base which is showered with melon-scything sonic meteors and whooshy electric storm clouds.
Excellent mixes from: Pole Folder and CP use lengthy, tension-building drops, nagging keyboard riff and mayhem-stoking electronic rushes to chart a different path.
Dublin-based Silinder takes a tougher approach with grunty dark riffs while Fady himself revisits his track with extra bass, much topping stripped away and ends up burrowing deeper still.
